Easter Ham
1 - 10 lb. smoked ham.
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce.
1 teaspoon prepared mustard.
2 tablespoons apricot jam.
1 can sliced pineapples. (Save the juice).
1 tablespoon oil.
2 teaspoons Basils Fire &
Brimstone.
About 20 to 30 sticks of clove depending on size
of ham used.
1 bottle maraschino cherries.
Method:
Remove ham from
wrapper, wash in cold water, pat dry and place in
a large baking dish.
Press sticks of cloves firmly into ham
until is nicely dotted.
Thoroughly mix Worcestershire sauce,
prepared mustard, apricot jam, oil, hot sauce and
pineapple juice.
Baste ham with marinade by dribbling
marinade over ham.
Bake at 375o for about 1½
hours or until ham is done.
Place on serving platter and decorate with
sliced pineapples on top. Place maraschino
cherries on top of pineapples.
Decorative Ideas for
Special Days: (see picture)
Place single globe
cedar leaves around serving platter.
Place small bunches of red mountain ash
berries on green cedar leaves.
