Spicy
Beef
Strips

Ingredients:
½ kg thinly cut beef stir
fry strips (1 lb.)
1 tbsp. Soya Sauce
dash of All Purpose Seasoning Salt
2.5 ml pureed ginger (½ tsp.)
5 ml fresh diced garlic (1 tsp.)
30 ml orange juice (2 tbsp.)
7 ml. Basils Fire and
Brimstone (hot) (1½
tsp.)
15 ml freshly chopped green onions (1 tbsp.)
1 - 1½ tbsp. organic Canola oil
Note: pork strips or
chicken breast strips may be substituted. You
will have to increase the cooking time by about 5
minutes for these.
Method:
In
a large bowl, add soya sauce, seasoning salt,
ginger, garlic,
orange juice and Basils
Fire and Brimstone.
Mix well.
Microwave on HIGH for about 45 seconds.
Add
strips to the marinate and stir so strips are
well coated. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
In
a non-stick pan or wok, add strips to hot oil and
fry for about 5 minutes on high.
Remove
from heat, place on a serving dish, and garnish
with green onions.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve over a bed of
rice
Place in pita pockets for lunch or sliced
for an appetizer
Add your favorite vegetables to the pan
and create your own stir fry
Add to your favorite cooked noodles
